Dr. Richard Powers Sr.
Senior Pastor

Pastor Powers has been the Senior Pastor of the Grace Baptist Church since June of 1975. He is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist College and has a degree in Pastoral Counseling from Andersonville Seminary. He and his wife Brenda have 3 married children and 9 grandchildren.

Rick Powers Jr.
Administrative Pastor

Pastor Rick has been on staff at GBC since September of 2000. He has been the Administrative/Media Pastor since May of 2009 and before that he was Student Ministries Pastor. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Religion. He and his wife Leah have 3 children (Brody, Kylie & Eden).

Glenn Gilley
Missions Pastor

Pastor Glenn has been the Associate Pastor of the Grace Baptist Church since June of 1995. He is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist College with a Bachelors Of Religious Education. He and his wife Linda have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren.

David Short Sr.
Worship Pastor

Pastor Dave has been the Worship Pastor at GBC since June of 1990, full-time since February 1992.  He has attended Moody Bible Institute, Cedarville University, & Andersonville Seminary.  IT training from Cleveland State, Tri-C & Polaris. He and his wife Mary have 5 grown children and 21 grandchildren.

Justin Brenenstuhl
Member Care & Outreach Pastor

Pastor Justin joined the GBC staff in May of 2014. Before joining the Grace Team, Justin and his family were faithful missionaries in Eastern Europe for 12 years. He and his wife Angie always have a home full of those in need and are strong advocates for Foster Care and Refugee Ministries.

Derek Zelenka
Youth Pastor

Derek and his wife Kelly grew up in GBC and were married here. They have three boys. Derek earned a B.A. from Cedarville University, majoring in Biblical Studies and served as student body chaplain. They have been involved in urban and youth ministries. Derek was a police officer for 12 years and still serves as Brunswick P.D.’s chaplain and a part time officer. He and Kelly joined the youth department full time in 2020.
